Mission & Goals

Mission: The Association for Gender Research, Education, Academia and Action (AGREAA) supports those who enrich the understanding of gender and sexuality by providing community space dedicated to the discussion of gender, professional development opportunities, and increased access to information.

Goals:

1. Create active partnerships between and within groups of academics, activists, educators, mental/health professionals, policy-makers, and researchers.
2. Create space(s) dedicated to the discussion of gender.
3. Provide opportunities for professional development.
4. Advocate, facilitate, and engage in alliances for social change related to gender.
5. Increase accessibility of research and resources to build the strength of future works.
6. Bridge the gap between professional and trans and gender diverse communities through mutually symbiotic relationships.
